Ugh! I borrowed Slap Shot in honor of the beginning of hockey season - a big deal in my household. I expected sillyness and a chance to appreciate the charms of Paul Newman. Instead, I got a pretty snooze-worthy film whenever they weren't playing hockey. Add to the boredom a sprinking of seriously offensive homo-phobic slurs and you get a big fail of a movie.
Only a 2 in my book and a big sad face that Paul Newman was in this one.
